Prof Saad Z, Darwish had worked for more than four decades in the education industry. He  now occupies  the role of Professor of Business Administration at Kingdom University-Bahrain and serve as the Director of the Entrepreneurship Center, in addition to being the Head of Community Engagement and Continuous Education. Previously, he  was the President’s Advisor for Special Projects and served as Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Finance, and Community Engagement at Applied Science University (ASU) in Bahrain from 2013 to 2018.  Prior to his  role at ASU, He served as the Vice President of Academic Affairs at Delmon University. HE served as the Head of the Department of Business Administration at Al Zaitoona University in Jordan.  Before that he served as the  Vice President of Al Nahreen University in Iraq and held the post of Dean for sixteen years within the Ministry of Higher Education before assuming the role of Vice President. He was appointed as a referee for many international conferences and as a member of multiple editorial boards in international publications.  HE obtained his  Ph.D. in Risk Management from Westminster University 1987 UK . Earned a master’s degree in insurance administration from the University of Baghdad and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Al Hikmah American University in Baghdad.  Awarded several distinctions and medals, including forty letters of commendation from diverse academic institutions in Iraq, and recognized for contributions to scientific research at the Ministry of Higher Education in Iraq. Won The Sharjah Prize 2002 for the best PhD thesis in Management Sciences in the Arab Region was conferred for the thesis entitled “Knowledge Management,” which  he supervised for one of my students. In 1996, he was awarded the Higher Order of Merit by the Iraqi government for my ongoing scientific accomplishments. He had authored six books and published  over one hundred papers in various disciplines of business and management  in refereed academic journals. Also, he was appointed as a Research Fellow at the Faculty of Business and Management for a period of six (6) months, starting from October 1st, 2023, until Mac 31st, 2024.
