Dr. Eng. Khaled Alhosani is a distinguished leader in environmental sustainability and public health, serving as the Executive Director of the Public Health and Environment Sector at Ajman Municipality and Planning Department. He holds a B.Sc. in Plant Sciences in Arid Regions and an M.Sc. in Groundwater Engineering and Management from the UAE. His PhD is from Greater Manchester University in the UK. With a wealth of experience in waste management, water conservation, and air quality control, he actively contributes to national and international environmental initiatives, including COP28 preparation and the Emirates Council for Climate Change. Dr. Eng. Khaled Alhosani has chaired numerous conferences and seminars on environmental sustainability and has published a significant number of research articles in reputable journals. His leadership has driven major projects such as the National Landfill Project, Ajman’s recycling and sewage treatment plants, and the development of natural reserves. Additionally, he has supervised and continues to oversee various environmental projects. A certified strategist in leadership and project management from institutions like INSEAD, Dr Eng.
